About Us

The Rehab Clinic is part of close care and operates at both locations of Blekinge Hospital.

The clinic is responsible for the hospitals' rehabilitation in both inpatient and specialized outpatient care. The work is carried out both trans- and interprofessionally.

The physiotherapy department at Blekinge Hospital in Karlskrona meets the needs for physiotherapists on the hospital's wards, such as intensive care, pediatrics, stroke, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, thoracic surgery, and infection. In addition, we provide specialized outpatient care in areas such as cardiology, pain, neurology, cancer, hand rehabilitation, as well as pediatrics, rheumatology, and pulmonary medicine. Specialized rehabilitation at home (Sprih) is also one of our work areas, where intensive rehabilitation is performed at home after discharge from the hospital for both stroke and general patients.

About 28 employees work in the physiotherapy department, including physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and water therapists. The workgroup has a good climate with open communication and continuously learns from each other through daily contact and regular internal training.

The Job

In physiotherapy, we have a broad operation and great opportunities. We are curious about your areas of interest and want to create an exciting position for you based on that and the needs of the operation. The operation sees needs in several different areas, including psychiatry (inpatient and outpatient) and in our team-based operations, Specialist Rehab and Sprih (specialized rehabilitation at home). About You

You are a licensed physiotherapist. To thrive with us, it is important that you are independent, engaged, and positive about development. Great consideration is also given to good collaboration skills and personal suitability.
